The five most expensive signings in the history of soccer
The French Paul Pogba is number one of the most expensive football signings. He joined Juventus Manchester United this 2016 for € 110 million.
Bale is the second most expensive signing in the history. In 2013 it was transferred from Tottenham to Real Madrid for € 101 million.
Cristiano Ronaldo is third most expensive signing in the history of world football. In2009, Real Madrid paid 94 million euros to Manchester United for the services of the Portuguese.
Gonzalo Higuaín is the fourth most expensive signing in the history. He was recentlytransferred from the Naples to Juventus for an amount of EUR 90 million.
According to AFP News Agency, Neymar is the fifth most expensive signing in the history. Santos Barcelona passed by 88.5 million euros in the 2013 season.
This figure is still in doubt because of the demands that have fallen on the Barcelona by hiding the true cost of the purchase of Neymar.
